MAASIN CITY — Original Pinoy Music (OPM) fans in Southern Leyte are encouraged to mark their calendars on June 22, Sunday, as the Rivermaya band is expected to perform in the province.
This was announced by the provincial government and confirmed by Vice-Governor Rosa Emilia Mercado.
She said that aside from Rivermaya, other special guest performers who will jam with Southern Leyteños at the Concert at the Park include Monday Sux, Jurge Bond, Side B Band, and Maria’s Wildlife.
The vice-governor emphasized that the event at the Sunken Garden, Capitol Grounds is free of charge, in line with the province’s 65th Founding Anniversary celebration.
On the other hand, the official also ensured the presence of authorities to ensure peace and order and thwart those who plan nothing good during the event.
