Southern Leyte police hosts Graphic Design Training in Maasin City

CAMP BANTUG, MAASIN CITY –  The Southern Leyte Police Provincial Office under the leadership of PCOL RAYMUNDO P GRAVELES conducted a Graphic Design Training on July 24, 2025, at Camp Gov. Alfredo K Bantug, Brgy. Canturing, Maasin City.

The training was held in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) – Southern Leyte led by Ms. Marian C. Go-Soco, MSIT, Provincial Officer of DICT Southern Leyte.

Participants included PCR PNCOs, Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUPs), Southern Leyte Maritime Police Station, CIDG-SLPFU and members of the Philippine Coast Guard.

The one-day session featured a lecture on Basic Graphic Design Principles and Common Design Mistakes  by Mr. Isidro P. Espinido Jr.,  Canva Trainer from DICT Southern Leyte. Following the lecture, participants engaged in a hands-on group activity, applying their newly learned skills to create graphic designs.

This initiative aims to enhance the visual communication skills of law enforcement and partner agency personnel, empowering them to effectively convey ideas and messages through graphic design.
